Il Centro di educazione Ambientale ORTONAMMARE è stato riconosciuto di interesse regionale dalla Regione Abruzzo. Costituito nel 2008 dall’Amministrazione Comunale, e collocato tra le strutture di servizio in rete con la Biblioteca, Ortonammare eredita le attività e i servizi in materia ambientale e scientifica che fin dal 1998 sono stati proposti ai ragazzi e agli adulti. Mostre divulgative, incontri di aggiornamento, collaborazione a progetti condivisi di educazione ambientale, tra i quali il riconoscimento di best practice da parte dell’Istituto degli Innocenti di Firenze per il progetto di partecipazione dell’infanzia alla vita cittadina “La città dei Bambini”.

R…estate a Sant’Anna! Con i bambini una notte di musica e una di sogni
Due appuntamenti serali per i piccoli lettori della Biblioteca Comunale: libri e racconti a ritmo di musica e di sogno per illuminare il buio.
Mercoledì 3 agosto, dalle ore 17 alle 18:30, bambini dai 18 mesi ai 3 anni con i loro genitori e con le operatrici del CIPI’ (Centro Interattivo Prima Infanzia) della Biblioteca Comunale, si danno appuntamento per leggere storie rumorose, divertirsi con giochi sonori e costruire strumenti musicali creativi, originali e a misura di bambino! E per loro, a partire dalle ore 21.30, una possibilità in più: quella di scendere in campo con i loro strumenti e affiancare i componenti de La “bbanda futurista” di Ortona in un concerto all’aperto nel cortile del Complesso Monumentale Sant’Anna.
Giovedì 11 agosto, dalle ore 21, è invece la volta di Chi c’è di notte in biblioteca?racconti e storie a testa in su e chi c’è lo scopri tu!
Un viaggio nella notte per bambini dai 4 agli 11 anni, per suggerire loro storie che li accompagnino verso il sonno e li portino a incontrare i propri sogni faccia a faccia, tra misteri e piccoli brividi.
Storie per far spazio a piccole paure, per aprire la porta a mondi fantastici, desiderati e immaginati in cui mostri, pipistrelli e creature della notte convivranno gomito a gomito con rassicuranti storie della buonanotte.

Riflessioni di Settembre
Sulla BCONews di settembre, le nostre riflessioni su alcuni contenuti dei servizi e delle attività della biblioteca. Fermarsi a pensare è un po’ rimestare il fondo di un torrente, intorbidire le acque per confondere certe trasparenze ed abitudini in modo da scoprirne le sospensioni e gli organismi, vivi e morti, nascosti nel deposito tra i sassi. Riflettere aiuta a mettersi in discussione per spostare sempre di più il punto di vista dei servizi bibliotecari verso chi li usa, e questo fa bene a tutti. Dai servizi per l’infanzia alla valorizzazione dei patrimoni, dalla lettura a voce alta alle mostre del libro e alle esperienze apparentemente più “complesse” di aggiornamento, proporremo i nostri percorsi.

The Environmental Education Center ORTONAMMARE has been recognized important by the Abruzzo Region. Established in 2008 by the Municipal Administration, and placed between the structures of web service with the Public Library, Ortonammare inherits the activities and services in environmental and scientific matter since 1998 when they were offered to children and adults. Informative exhibitions, meetings of updating, collaboration in shared projects about environmental education, including the recognition of best practice by the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence for the project for the participation of children to the life of the city “The city of children”.

Summer at Sant’Anna!
With children a night of music and dreams
Two evening meetings for small readers of the Public Library: books and stories with the rhythm of music and dream to illuminate the darkness.
Wednesday, August 3, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, children from 18 months to 3 years with their parents and the operators of CIPI’ (Center Interactive for Early Childhood) of the Public Library, will meet to read noisy stories, have fun with games and build creative musical instruments, original and for children! And, for them, starting at 9.30 p.m. , another possibility: to get back on the field with their instruments and supporting components of La “bbanda futurista” in Ortona in an open air concert.
Thursday, August 11, from 9pm, on the other hand, is the time of Who is at night in the public library? tales and stories head on and who is there you can discover!
A trip during the night for children from 4 to 11 years, to suggest them stories that can accompany them toward sleep and lead them to meet their dreams face to face, between mysteries and small chills.
Stories to let space for small fears, in order to open the door to fantastic worlds, desired and imagined where monsters, bats and creatures of the night will live together with reassuring bedtime stories.

Reflections of September
On BCONews of September, our reflections about some of the contents of the services and activities of the public library. Stopping to think is like stiring the bottom of a stream, muddying the waters to confuse certain transparencies and habits in order to discover the suspensions and bodies, alive and dead, hidden between the stones. Reflecting helps to debate to move more and more the point of view of library services for them who use it, and this is good for everyone. From childcare to the enhancement of assets, by reading aloud to the exhibitions of books and the experiences apparently more “complex” of updating, we will propose our paths.
