Torna lappuntamento con Il Maggio dei Libri, la campagna nazionale promossa dal Centro per il libro e la lettura del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali in collaborazione con l’Associazione Italiana Editori e con il patrocinio della Commissione Nazionale Italiana per l’UNESCO.
La Biblioteca Comunale di Ortona partecipa con un calendario di iniziative rivolte a bambini e ragazzi, volte a promuovere il valore sociale della lettura come elemento di crescita personale, relazionale e culturale. Questi gli appuntamenti:

maDAmargherita…e poi? – Dal 13 maggio Biblioteca Comunale
In occasione dell’apertura ad Ortona della mostra L’arte in Abruzzo al tempo di Margherita d’Austria, presso la Biblioteca Comunale, verranno esposti libri per bambini e ragazzi che richiamano ed evocano contenuti narrativi e artistici della mostra margaritiana. Fiabe, libri darte, racconti e romanzi storici per facilitare i giovanissimi verso la fascinazione e levocazione dei climi e delle suggestioni del periodo cinquecentesco. Lesposizione è visitabile negli orari di apertura della biblioteca, dal 13 maggio al 2 giugno.
2.L’arte in Abruzzo al tempo di Margherita d’Austria II edizione ampliata Fino al 30 giugno 2013– Palazzo Farnese Ortona (CH)
Il Palazzo Farnese di Ortona torna ad ospitare fino al 30 giugno 2013 la mostra L’arte in Abruzzo al tempo di Margherita d’Austria, realizzata con il contributo della Fondazione Carichieti e della Banca Popolare di Lanciano e Sulmona, dal Comune di Ortona e dalla Soprintendenza BSAE dellAbruzzo.
Un percorso tra capolavori della pittura e della scultura, oreficerie e oggetti di arredo, che in questa nuova edizione 2013 va ad arricchirsi con lesposizione di documenti inediti, cartografia e mappe dei feudi farnesiani dAbruzzo.
Visite guidate per le scuole: mattine del martedì e del giovedì, dalle ore 9,00 alle 12,00. Per prenotazioni: Biblioteca Comunale/Tel.0859067233(Referente Anna Maria Gelsomino).
Fino al 2 giugno presso la biblioteca comunale è inoltre visitabile maDAmargherita…e poi?, mostra di libri per bambini e ragazzi ispirata alla figura di Margherita d’Austria e promossa all’interno del Maggio dei Libri.
3.Dalla parte delle cicale. Riletture al presente di Gianni Rodari: presentazione del volume – 10 maggio, ore 17.00 – Biblioteca F. Di Giampaolo dellAgenzia per la Promozione Culturale di Pescara
Nella sezione LEGGERE E FAR LEGGERE. Incontri con esperti e protagonisti della lettura, scrittura, editoria e letteratura per linfanzia, venerdì 10 maggio, alle ore 17,00 sarà presentato il libro Dalla parte delle cicale. Riletture al presente di Gianni Rodari. ed: Franco Angeli. Con contributi a cura di Pino Boero, Gaetano Bonetta, Graziella Giovannini, Eros Miari, Fabio Naggi, Vinicio Ongini, Fiorella Paone, Beniamino Sidoti.
Alla presentazione interverranno i curatori Ilaria Filograsso, Tito Vezio Viola , Leonardo Benvenuti
A partire dalle esperienze realizzate nell’Anno rodariano abruzzese, che ha visto nel 2010 biblioteche, università e associazioni culturali protagoniste nella regione di una serie di attività e di servizi in rete per ragazzi e bambini, il volume propone una nuova visione letteraria e pedagogica di Gianni Rodari, indicando, sulla scorta di spunti e suggestioni che le sue pagine ancora sollecitano, aspetti e declinazioni possibili della sua contemporanea.

A new appointment with the May of the books, the national campaign sponsored by the Center for the book and the reading of the Ministry for Cultural Assets and Activities in collaboration with the Association of Italian Publishers and with the patronage of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO.
The Public Library of Ortona participates with a calendar of initiatives for children and young people, to promote the social value of reading as an element of personal, relational and cultural growth. These are the appointments:

From Margaret… and then? – From 13 May – Public Library
On the occasion of the opening in Ortona of the exhibition, The art in Abruzzo at the time of Margaret of Austria, at the Public Library, will be exhibited books for children and teens that recall and evoke narrative content and art of the exhibition. Fairy Tales, books about art, stories, and historical novels to facilitate the youngest people toward the fascination and the evocation of the climates and the suggestions of the sixteenth century period.
The exhibition can be visited in the opening hours of the library, from 13 May to 2 June.
2.The art in the Abruzzo Region at the time of Margaret of Austria – II expanded edition Until June, 30 2013- Palazzo Farnese, Ortona (CH)
The Farnese Palace in Ortona houses again, until June 30, 2013, the exhibition Art in Abruzzo at the time of Margaret of Austria, made with the contribution of the Fondazione Carichieti and the Banca Popolare di Lanciano and Sulmona, the town of Ortona and the Office BSAE of Abruzzo.

Meetings with experts and protagonists of the reading, writing, books and children’s literature, Friday, May 10, at 17.00 will be presented the book “On the side of the cicadas. Present readings of Gianni Rodari.” publisher: Franco Angeli. With contributions by Pino Boero, Gaetano Bonetta, Graziella Giovannini, Eros Miari, Fabio Naggi, Vinicio Ongini, Fiorella Paone, Beniamino Sidoti.
The presentation will include the curators Ilaria Filograsso, Tito Vezio Viola , Leonardo Benvenuti.
From experiences made in the Year of Rodari in Abruzzo, which saw in 2010 public libraries, universities and cultural associations protagonists in the region of a series of activities and services on the network for children and young people, the volume offers a new literary and pedagogical vision of Gianni Rodari, indicating, on the basis of ideas and suggestions, that its pages still seek, aspects and possible meanings of its contemporary.
